Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet your safari guide and transfer to your lodge in Arusha. Enjoy a safari briefing and prepare for the adventure ahead. Overnight stay at a comfortable lodge in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and baobab-studded landscapes. Enjoy a full-day game drive spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, and hippos. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp near the park.

Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park

Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for tree-climbing lions and flamingo-filled soda lakes. Afternoon game drive includes sightings of elephants, buffalo, and monkeys. Stay overnight at a lodge near Lake Manyara.

Day 4: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

Early morning departure to the Serengeti. Witness the dramatic scenery change as you enter endless plains teeming with wildlife. Afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti. Overnight in a luxury tented camp.

Day 5-7: Full Days in Serengeti

Spend three days exploring the Serengeti’s diverse ecosystems. Game drives will focus on the migration routes, predator-prey interactions, and rare wildlife sightings. Picnics in the bush, sundowners, and optional walking safaris are included. Overnight stays in central or northern Serengeti camps depending on migration locations.

Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Afternoon game drive descending into the crater floor, spotting lions, rhinos, zebras, and wildebeests. Overnight stay at a lodge overlooking the crater rim with spectacular sunset views.

Day 9: Full Day Ngorongoro Exploration

Full day inside Ngorongoro Crater. Morning and afternoon game drives allow for close encounters with diverse wildlife. Picnic lunch in the crater and time for photography. Overnight at the crater rim lodge.

Day 10: Cultural Experience & Return to Arusha

Drive back to Arusha with optional visits to Maasai villages and local markets. Learn about traditional culture and crafts. Afternoon leisure and overnight stay at a lodge in Arusha.

Day 11: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure or extend your safari adventure. Conclude an unforgettable journey across Tanzania’s iconic parks and witness the magnificent Great Migration.
